Cornelia Faist – Founder

Cornelia studied Theatrical Arts, new German literature and Anthropology, M. A. at the Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich.  From 1992 to 1999 she was the business manager and artistic director of the Aktionsforum Praterinsel Munich, and turned an unknown location into a meeting place for the international cultural and exhibition scene. Artists such as Robert Rauschenberg and David Byrne were her guests. Visitors could experience a fashion show with Fiona Bennett and Rammstein, or a Fluxus exhibition, whose entry fee was determined according to body size. Since then she has been a specialist for the gathering and transmission of interdisciplinary content to a wide public. From 2000 to 2002 she worked with Harald Szeeman on the exhibition ‘Money and Value, the last Taboo’ for the Swiss Expo 2002 in Biel. Since 2002 she has been an independent cultural director and creates extraordinary events and cultural projects from exhibitions to music and audio works, for businesses and for private or public institutions.
